Facebook Memories might make you laugh, reminisce, or grimace about your time in high school. However, for some, they may also evoke unpleasant or otherwise less pleasurable experiences. You may change your Facebook settings to conceal regretful memories so you aren’t surprised by them.
Here’s how to use the Facebook mobile app to conceal memories.
1. On your phone, launch the Facebook app.

corner of the screen, and the bottom-right corner of an iPhone.
3. Press Memories.
4. To access Memories Settings, tap the Gear icon located in the upper-right corner.
5. All Memories, Highlights, or None are your options. Facebook will display all of your memories from that day under All Memories, just exceptional videos and collections under Highlights, and no notifications for any memories under None.
You can decide to conceal memories involving particular users if you’d want something more focused. Follow the instructions above, but instead tap People in the Memories Settings page. You can enter the name of a user you wish to keep out of your memory. The choices you make are automatically saved, and they won’t be informed.
In the Memories Settings tab, you can also hide memories from a certain date range by tapping Dates. Almost any time period, starting from 1900, can be entered, including a day, a week, a month, or a full year. After you’re finished, select Done and then Save.
