How to Modify and Modify the Control Center on Your iPhone in iOS 18

More than a month after releasing iOS 18.1, Apple launched iOS 18.2 on December 11. Additional Apple Intelligence capabilities, such as Genmoji and ChatGPT integrated Siri, were added to some iPhones with the upgrade. iOS 18 gives you additional customization options for your iPhone, whereas iOS 18.2 adds new features and resolves bugs. You may personalize your Control Center, lock screen, and home screen using the operating system.

With iOS 7, CNET Tips_Tech Control Center debuted in 2013. At the time, you could operate a few applications, like your calculator, and certain iPhone features, like screen brightness, using the operate Center. Since then, you’ve been able to add applications and features to the page, such as Notes and Low Power Mode. With iOS 18, you may customize your Control Center with whatever applications and features you choose.

You have two options: browse through the various controls or use the search bar at the top of the new menu to look for controls. Old favorites like Screen Recording are among the controls, along with brand-new ones for features like Ping My Watch and Tap to Cash.

Additionally, you may use the Open App shortcut to make any other app on your iPhone a control. Although this control just allows you to launch the app, you may use it to organize your home screen or save all of your favorite applications in one location for easy access.

Even after you’ve filled the page, you may still add as many controls to your Control Center as you want. Similar to how adding more applications to your home screen keeps adding new home screens, after you’ve filled the first Control Center page, the following control you add will show up on a new page. You may either hit the appropriate page sign on the far right side of your Control Center screen or swipe up or down to access different Control Center pages.

And Apple introduced new, independent connection options to activate and disable Bluetooth and VPN when iOS 18.1 was launched. Prior to that upgrade, these controls were available on the Connectivity page in Control Center or in the Connectivity tile, but they couldn’t be added as separate controls.

How to personalize your Control Center’s applications and features

To make the controls simpler to reach, you may also enlarge them. While certain controls, like Music, may become their own Control Center page, others can change into tiles. Here’s a guide to resizing your functions and applications.

1. Swipe down from the upper right corner of your iPhone screen after unlocking it.
2. In the upper left corner of your screen, tap the plus (+) symbol.

The bottom right corner of each control’s border will now be thicker in this updated view. To increase the control, tap and drag this thicker area.

1. Swipe down from the upper right corner of your iPhone screen after unlocking it.
2. In the upper left corner of your screen, tap the plus (+) symbol.
