Since their inception, the Assassin’s Creed video games have been open-world games that immerse players in various historical settings. With the exception of the dual protagonists and the long-desired Japanese setting, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is identical. While you’re earning XP and getting deeper into the game’s story, it will become less and less viable to travel by foot or horse between objectives. That’s where fast travel comes into play, but the system works slightly differently in this entry than usual. Here’s how fast travel works in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
How to utilize fast travel fast traveling in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Anyone who has previously played the series should be familiar with the main components of Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ quick travel system. Climbing to high places and synchronizing to give yourself a fast travel point will allow you to open perspectives at certain locations, however you can also fast travel using another map marker. The majority of the game’s big towns and villages include a new building called Kakurega that must be unlocked by using Mon to buy it. They give you another quick travel point once you do.

The whole fast travel feature will be locked during the game’s introduction. You can begin to freely fast travel to any viewpoint or Kakurega on the map when you arrive at the hideaway and construct your first Kakurega here. To save yourself the lengthy journeys across the map, we strongly advise concentrating on the primary plot at least until this stage before you start crossing off all those other points of view.
